The first quarter of 2023 has shown interesting trends for the top 5 shopping games on a unified platform in Africa. Data from Sensor Tower provides valuable insights into their performance.

My Mini Mart from Supersonic Studios LTD experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $310 in early January and gradually declining to $78 by the end of March. Weekly downloads started strong at approximately 141K in late December but saw a significant decrease to around 33K by the end of January. However, the trend reversed, and downloads rose to nearly 74K by the end of March. Weekly active users also followed a similar pattern, decreasing from nearly 350K in late December to around 160K in late February, then climbing back up to approximately 233K by the end of March.

Vlad & Niki Supermarket game by Hippo Kids Games showed minimal revenue generation, with occasional peaks such as $14 in late February. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 22K to 24K in January and February, before dropping to approximately 18K by the end of March. Weekly active users demonstrated a slight decline from around 63K in late December to about 54K by the end of the quarter.

Supermarket Game from FM by Bubadu did not generate any revenue during this period. Weekly downloads saw a peak of about 26K in mid-January and another peak of around 26K in late March, with a relatively stable pattern in between, averaging around 20K. Weekly active users remained consistent, fluctuating between 28K and 37K throughout the quarter.

Baby Panda's Town: Supermarket by BabyBus also showed no revenue generation. The game saw a significant drop in weekly downloads from approximately 20K in late December to around 4.7K in mid-February, with a slight recovery to about 6.6K by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, declining from around 49K in late December to about 32K by the end of March.

Cashier 3D by Rollic Games had sporadic revenue, with minor peaks such as $28 in early January and $16 in early March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at approximately 3.5K in late December, peaking at about 12.9K in mid-February, and ending at around 10.8K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a general upward trend, increasing from around 17K in late December to about 29K by the end of March.
